Founded in 2004 by stroke survivors, we have hundreds of members who are championing for survivors and their families in communities across Illinois. Originally sponsored by the American Heart/American Stroke Association, SSEEO is now an independent, 501(c)(3) organization run by those whose life has
been affected by stroke. SSEEO strives to improve the quality of life for stroke survivors and their families.
